Dear BUV Member,

The May meeting was held on the 9^th as scheduled and called to order by President Fullbeck. Thanks to all who attended. Our next meeting is scheduled for September 12th.

It is that time again when our society reconvenes. We hope that your summer was safe, healthy and well. We are all looking forward to seeing everyone in September.

Sadly, we have lost another dear member, Evelyn Fullbeck, wife of our President Pete Fullbeck. Evelyn will be remembered for her efforts and hard work in the society’s events such as the International Folks Festival and our Christmas parties. She also did a fantastic job preparing the meals for our meetings. Evelyn was completely committed to our organization. She will be greatly missed. The Bavarian Society offers its deepest sympathies and condolences to the Fullbeck Family for their recent tragedies.

Our May picnic was not a money maker for the club but certainly not a huge loss. Thank you to all the members who worked hard to put this together. We look forward to holding the event once again next year and building the success of this event with each year.

We hope to see everyone at our upcoming meeting. The meeting will be held at the Donauschwaben Haus and begin at 7:00 pm.
