Dear BUV Member,

The October meeting was held on the 10^th as scheduled and called to order by President Fullbeck. Thanks to all who attended. Our next meeting is scheduled for November 14th.

Correction to last month’s newsletter: Our Christmas Party is scheduled for Sunday, December 17^th , not the 18^th as announced in the last newsletter. Thank you to those who have committed to make this happen. Please report to the society by the November meeting if you plan to attend as we need an exact number for preparations. If you are unable to make the meeting please contact Randy Mueller to R.S.V.P at randallmueller@buvcincinnati.org. As always, the fee for guests is $10 each.

Welcome!! During our last two meetings we have accepted two new passive members effective in January: Elmer Hambaugh and Stephanie Huffman. We also have two new applicants for acceptance in January for full membership: Dan Waterman and Adam Igel.

Elections will be held at December’s meeting for officer positions. As of right now there have been no nominations. If interested please attend upcoming meeting for nomination and consideration.

It was reported that Brother Frank Bakes, Sr. was involved in a riding lawn mower accident. It was reported that he has a couple of broken bones and is recovering. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

We hope to see everyone at our upcoming meeting. The meeting will be held at the Donauschwaben Haus and begin at 7:00 pm.
