Dear BUV Member,

 

            The April meeting was held on the 12th as scheduled and called to order by President Fullbeck.  Thanks to all who attended.  Our next meeting is scheduled for May 10th.

 

            Our annual dinner was a success and a lot of fun.  It was held at Ron’s Roost on April 17th.  Twenty-two members were there.

 

            “Invite a New Member Day” will be at our next monthly meeting in May.  Hopefully this will generate interest in our society and drive membership thus enabling the club to become more involved in community events once again.

 

            Maifest 2006 is in the works.  Thanks to those members that are beginning to prepare for the event and to all who have brought suggestions and ideas.

 

            Thanks to our Constitution Revision Committee.  Our constitution is currently being revised and updated to reflect current times.

 

            We hope to see many members at our May meeting as well as plenty of new guests.  The meeting will be held at the Donauschwaben Haus and begin at 7:00 pm.
