Dear BUV Member,

 

            The November meeting was held on the 14th as scheduled and called to order by President Pete Fullbeck.  Thanks to all who attended. 

 

            The Christmas party is scheduled for December 17th between 3pm and 7pm. Please keep in mind that doors will not open until 2:30pm.  Please report to the society by the December meeting if you plan to attend as we need an exact number for preparations.  If you are unable to make the meeting, please contact Randy Mueller to R.S.V.P at randallmueller@buvcincinnati.org or phone 513-752-3384.  As always, the fee for guests is $10 each.  Please make checks are payable to BUV. Randy is collecting guest fees.

                       

            There have been zero nominations for new officers.  As it appears now, current officers will remain in their positions for the upcoming year.

 

            We now have our 125th Anniversary video on DVD.  Copies can be made for members upon request.  DVDs will cost approximately $5.  See Randy for copies.

 

            There have been some new additions to our website. As pictures are provided, they are being posted.  If you have pictures, recipes, or memorabilia that you would like posted, please bring them to the meetings.  Also, our 125th Anniversary video will be posted soon.  If you would like a BUV email address, please email Randy Mueller.  There is no fee for this.  Many members have already taken advantage of this.

 

            Please don’t forget to pay your annual dues.  Treasurer Mueller has requested that the dues be paid in December to make it easier for accounting reasons.  If you are unable to attend the meeting, please mail checks to his address listed above.

 

            Our new Constitution has been printed in English and has finally arrived.  Contact Gottfried Mueller if you would like a copy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

            Edith Mueller, wife of former President Gerhard Mueller, has donated several German books on various subjects to the club.  These titles will be posted on our website in the near future. If any member wishes to borrow these books from the club, just ask.

 

            It has been reported to the club that Brother Rudy Bambach has recently undergone surgery on a sciatic nerve.  We wish him a speedy recovery.

 

            We hope to see everyone at our upcoming meeting.  Our next meeting is scheduled for December 12th at the Donauschwaben Haus and will begin at 7:00 pm.
